A unique place for the production and aging of the most special wines of Ribera del Duero. A project based on the vineyard property in different villages of the appellation of origin. The winery is located in the town of Villalba del Duero, province of Burgos. The name of the winery Bela comes from the name of one of the three sons of the co-founder of CVNE, Sofia, who was known as Bela. We cultivate 81 hectares of vineyards planted mostly on trellises, in two villages: Villalba de Duero and Moradillo de Roa. Our Villalba del Duero vineyards were planted in 2002. They are located at an altitude of 800m, and are sandy loam soils, with a continental climate. Our Moradillo de Roa vineyards are more than 20 years old. They are located at an altitude of 1,000m, and are stony soils, with a continental climate. All Bela wines are aged in French and American oak barrels.
