Billecart-Salmon Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon Rosé
WINEMAKING: Partial alcoholic fermentation (20%) in barrels. Vinification according to the traditional champenoise method, with an assemblage combining 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir from grands crus.
AGEING: minimum aging of 10 years in bottle.
View: a sustained pink hue, a radiant glow.
Nose: a refreshing sensory expression of citrus. Red fruit zest and jelly. With the exquisite sensation of a rich and complex aromatic generosity (old roses, cherries and white peaches). Lovely olfactory notes respectfully, distinctive perfume of wild strawberries and soft spices.
Mouth: a measured strength, delicate and charming at the same time, and with a harmony of flavors (tangerine, blood orange and reineta, apple pie). A broad and pure character on the palate, a chalky edge and a lingering finish of slightly.candied citron.
