Proelio Viñedos Viejos

The vineyards are located in the Alto Najerilla sub-area, specifically in the municipality of Cardenas at an average altitude of 600 metres. Very old vineyards with high planting density and distributed in more than 18 small vineyards. More than 80 years old, 100% bush vines. Harvested by hand in 18 kg crates, fermented with its indigenous yeasts in wooden vats with a percentage of 40% with stems. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in wooden vats. Ageing in 40 hl French oak vats and 30 hl oval barrels for 12 months.

"From the subsoil to the sky. The uniqueness of small vineyards". A medium-depth wine with an elegant cherry red colour with ruby red edges. In the nose it is intense and fresh with notes of wild red fruits and balsamic aromas reminiscent of aromatic herbs from the aromatic scrubland herbs. In the mouth it is agile, fresh and fruity, with good fluidity and great complexity.
