Tomás Postigo 3er Año

Climatologically it was a year of moderate spring rainfall and a moderately hot summer in July and very hot in August. Very good vegetative development in spring. The highs in August and September were above average and the lows below average, ideal conditions for the polyphenolic ripening of the tannins. The grapes were harvested on 24 September, after a short period of rain at the beginning of September, which relieved the drought of the summer.

In the winery the grapes are moved by gravity, without pumps, gently. The grapes arrive destemmed and whole in the vats.

Colour: Cherry red with purple hues, very young.

Nose: Aromas of very ripe black fruit, with hints of red berries. Exuberant nose. The notes of toasted wood are very fine and elegant, very pleasant spices can be appreciated and when it opens up, the red fruit and milky notes are more marked.

Palate: In the mouth, it has very good acidity and fresh fruit, very well integrated tannin, tasty and milky notes. A wine with a long finish that will improve with the passage of time.
