Pequeñas puertas, JIRAFAS

Pequeñas puertas, JIRAFAS

  • Navarra

Single plot wine. Grapes from the Carbonela estate, in the Alegas Altas de Cintruénigo area.

They are vines with an average age of 35 years planted in clay and limestone soils and at an altitude of almost 500 meters above sea level. Organic agriculture is practiced without the use of chemical products to obtain the maximum honesty of the terroir and the grapes are harvested by hand at the optimum moment of ripening.

In the winery, the grapes of Pequeñas Puertas Jirafas are gently pressed and the must obtained ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and ages on lees in 700-liter concrete eggs and 500-liter single-use oak barrels for 12 months.

With a marked varietal aroma and balanced thanks to the combination of concrete and barrel. In the mouth it is tasty, full of nuances, spicy, with volume and a long finish.
