Fontaine Gagnard Chassagne Montrachet

The Chardonnay grapes come from several plots (En Journoblot, La Bergerie, Les Voillenots Dessus, Voillenot Dessous, Masures, Les Essarts) on chalky clay soils.

At Fontaine-Gagnard all wines are vinified with indigenous yeast. The whites are aged for one year and the reds for 18 months in barrels made by the domaine.

Fontaine-Gagnard is one of the finest traditional domaines in the Côte d'Or, a true Chassagne specialist, producing excellent wines that set the bar high with each vintage and reflect its wide range of great terroirs.

Its integration achieves a fatty and complex character, with pleasant fruity notes at the end of the palate and several layers.
