Maison Champy Beaune Premier Cru
Made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from Premier Cru vineyards in the commune of Beaune, in the Côte de Beaune (Burgundy). The vineyards are situated at an altitude of approximately 270 metres, facing east and set on clay-limestone soils – ideal conditions for producing wines of great elegance that truly express the terroir.
Colour: Intense garnet red with violet hues.
Nose: Good aromatic intensity, dominated by notes of ripe cherry and kirsch, with the characteristic elegance of the great Burgundy Pinot Noirs.
Palate: Structured and balanced, with round, silky and well-integrated tannins that lend body and a long, elegant finish.
Food pairing: Ideal with grilled red meats, duck, game birds, mushrooms, risottos, soft cheeses and traditional French cuisine.
Recommended serving temperature: Between 16 and 18 ºC.
