Antoine Ogier, a distant descendant of Ogier the Dane, starts his trading business in 1859. Among the traits he shares with his illustrious ancestor are his swagger and renown.
The House of Ogier is established in the heart of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Its maturation cellars, over a century old, were built on the very site of three artesian wells, creating ideal conditions in which to age our wines. This unique place, a former cooperage from the time when the entire village specialised in barrel-making, today houses all of Ogier’s maturing cuvées and is visited by all those keen to know more about Ogier.
