Bodegas y Viñas Senda Galiana is located on top of a hill, called San Cristóbal, in the town of Villamediana, five kilometres from the capital of La Rioja. From its balconies you can see the whole valley of Iregua and the city of Logroño. Its frontier location between the limits of Rioja Alta and Rioja Baja gives its climate a very appropriate balance for quality wine production. The winery is basically composed of two differentiated buildings: the winery itself and the manor house annexed; both are connected by an underground corridor that integrates them.

Founded in 1982, the owner of the winery made his dream come true in this winery to produce Rioja wines with his own style, where the personality and quality of the wine prevails over any other type of consideration. The winery has 50 hectares of vineyard, basically Tempranillo, although there are also the Mazuelo, Graciano, Viura and some Malvasía varieties planted. All of them are typical Rioja varieties. Its production capacity is about 500,000 kilograms of grapes from its own vineyards. The ageing of the wines is carried out in 1000 oak barrels, so that its production of ageing and reserves is very oriented to the best harvests and within them to the most select wines.
