Licinia Wines is a winery founded by a group of pioneers who share a vision of the immense potential of the vineyards southeast of Madrid. Víctor Algora and José Ramón Lisarrague, among other of Spain's most respected winemakers, are the heart and soul of Licinia Wines. The winery is located in the town of Morata, called "Licinia" during Roman times, located in the Vinos de Madrid DO, one of Spain's most outstanding and interesting wine regions. The mantra at Licinia is "no compromises". In a small, cool room with 180 barrels, the focus is on the hard work and effort needed to make something excellent: a perfect homage to the soil and soul of Madrid.
