Pansa Blanca, Chardonnay

Winemaking

Made from organic grapes of Vallcirera Paraje: Pansa Blanca & Chardonnay. The extraction of the first pressing must is made through a very light pressure. The Pansa Blanca is fermented in stainless steel tanks, while the fermentation of the Chardonnay takes place in second year French oak barrels. After four months, the blending is made through the traditional method and then there is a minimum ageing of 36 months. It is released on the market just after being disgorged.

Tasting note

Sight: Pale yellow with golden hues. Nose: Flower and ripe white fruit aromas with an aftertaste of nuts with the minerality and the salinity that are characteristics of the area. Palate: Balanced and structured, recalling the aromas of ripe fruit and nuts. Well marked acidity which is well integrated with flavours from the aging. The bubbles are fine and persistent. Very tasty and lingering aftertaste.
