LA VAL CONDADO DE TEA 2023 is a wine made from 60% Albariño, 30% Treixadura and 10% white Loureiro, with grapes from the Porto estate (4 hectares and 13 years old), with alluvial and pebble soil, cultivated according to the traditional Galician trellis system. Its production involves the separate fermentation of the three varieties, spontaneously with the vineyard's own yeasts, and subsequent blending according to the characteristics that each variety contributes depending on the vintage. The 2023 harvest, historic for its early ripening, allowed the Treixadura and Loureiro varieties to be harvested on September 6th with moderate alcohol content and perfect high acidity.
Tasting note
This wine is a tribute to the ancient wines of Condado do Tea, a sub-zone recognized by the D.O. Rías Baixas for its wines historically produced as multi-varietals. La Val Condado de Tea represents the union of diversity and complexity in a blend full of freshness and characteristic aromas. With an alcohol content of 12.5% and a total acidity of 7.1 g/l, it offers a perfect balance where each variety contributes its nuances: the structure of Albariño, the elegance of Treixadura and the floral aromas of Loureiro.
