Winemaking
The harvest of this plot took place on 3 September 2020. It was a rainy year, which had a great influence on this vineyard as it does not have irrigation. Rainfall for the year was around 450 mm/m2, compared to the usual 350 mm/m2. The yield of the plot was just under 25 Hl/Ha, which, together with good rainfall, meant that the vigour of the plants was ideal for obtaining grapes with enormous aromatic potential. The cultural practices used were ecological and the harvest health was excellent.
Tasting note
Appearance: Bright pale gold.
Nose: Good intensity, very closed at the beginning, which makes it necessary to work the glass well to extract nuances. Floral character, with notes of stone fruit and moss, some mineral touches, as well as a certain balsamic touch. Some syrupy and citrus notes appear with more air. Deep and elegant.
Palate: In the mouth it is spectacular, with a sense of balance that only occurs in great vintages. The acidity is well integrated, it has a firm and dense passage, without edges, it is long and deep in the end after which it leaves us floral and citric memories, with a magnificent persistence and a certain bitter aftertaste. Very elegant.
