Winemaking
This wine is not made in all the vintages, but only in the exceptional ones, those that due to their evolution guarantee a high potential and the qualities for the long aging in the wine barrel and bottle. Another of the differential characteristics of this red is the slight nuance that Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot bring, and that distinguishes it from the rest of the classic wines of Ribera del Duero.
18 months in french oak barrel and 6 months in Nevers wood cones.
Tasting note
Color: Intense cherry red of great intensity and very bright.
Nariz: Balsamic and mineral integrated with complex aromas of ripe fruit. After its oxygenation, spicy hints of cloves and vanilla can be appreciated.
Palate: Elegant, round, tasty, full bodied and with ripe tannins of complex structure. Tasty finish, velvety and long aftertaste.
Pairing: Exquisite dishes typical of the area: roasts, game and red meats.
