Traditional vinification with 100% destemming. Controlled fermentation between 28 and 30º C and sowing of selected yeast (Sacharomycces Cerevisae). Maceration for 21 days, with two daily pumpovers at the beginning and a light comeback during the last ten days. Aged for 14 months in Bordeaux French and American oak barrels. Barrel age: maximum of three wines. Regular transfers every 4 months.
Color: Medium-high intensity ruby red with light orange tones on the edge of the glass; clean and bright.
Nose: Intense. Light lactic notes, red fruits and spices. It shows a good development of secondary aromas of aging (vanilla, cocoa, roasted coffee) providing a good balance and persistence.
Palate: It shows flavorful, well armed and with ripe tannins in good balance with acidity-alcohol. The fruity character dominates slightly over the toasted, roasted, cocoa and vanilla flavours, giving it a very interesting complexity.
