LA VAL GRAN AÑADA 2019 represents the culmination of the winery's work, made from a careful selection of the best plots from their estates: from the highest and most granitic areas of Taboexa, through the pebble terraces of Arantei and Porto, to the lands near the Atlantic in Vilachán. Its production process includes manual harvesting in 20 kg boxes, cooling of the bunches in a cold room at 10°C, gentle pressing for the extraction of the best free-run must, fermentation with a starter culture of indigenous yeasts, and special aging divided between 500 and 600-liter French oak barrels and tanks with its finest lees.
Tasting note
This exceptional wine is the result of combining the versatility of Albariño and its extraordinary aging capacity with the diversity of soils and optimal weather conditions of the 2019 vintage. With an alcohol content of 12.5% and a total acidity of 7 g/l, it presents a perfect balance between structure and freshness. The viticultural tradition and culture transmitted over generations is reflected in this wine that positions itself "on the podium of Atlantic wines," showing complexity, depth and an unmistakable identity that reflects the maximum expression of Albariño from Rías Baixas.
