Winemaking
Three small parcels located in the villages of Treiso and Neive, with southwest exposure and at altitudes between 300 and 400 meters.
Treiso is one of the few villages in the Langhe with four DOC designations (Dolcetto DOC, Barbera DOC, Nebbiolo/Barbaresco DOC, and Moscato d’Asti DOC).
Moscato is an aromatic variety and the first to be harvested. The grapes are picked in 20 kg crates and destemmed upon arrival at the winery, where they undergo gentle pressing at low temperatures to preserve their aromatic characteristics. This is immediately followed by natural cold settling, after which the skins are separated from the must, which is then fermented in pressurized stainless steel tanks.
Tasting note
Aromatic character, with a beautiful greenish-yellow color and golden highlights, slightly sparkling.
Typical aromas of white flowers, acacia, passion fruit, and honey, with pleasant mineral notes of sage, oregano, and mint, reflecting the character of the soils.
On the palate, it is flavorful and very approachable, with good acidity that creates a perfect balance with the residual sugar from the grapes’ optimal ripeness.
