Celler Credo Estrany Blanco

The Estrany white wine comes from a xarel-lo vineyard owned by Celler Credo located in the Alt Penedès region (Barcelona). This vineyard, like the rest of Celler Credo's estates, has been cultivated following the principles of organic and biodynamic farming. The vineyards are worked while growing a spontaneous vegetation cover, very important to sponge the soil and regulate the retention and drainage of water in a rainfed crop like the one we practice. This plant carpet is essential to promote biodiversity and balance in the vineyard's ecosystem, where we apply treatments with medicinal plants (phytotherapy) to control the presence of fungi and reinforce the vines in a completely natural way. All Celler Credo grapes are hand-picked; vinification and bottling takes place on the property. Before pressing, the grapes for the production of Estrany go through the manual selection table.
