The organic cultivation method is undoubtedly a sign of respect for the vineyard and its surroundings. Our father, Félix Callejo, a great adventurer in every sense of the word, obtained the Private Pilot License in 1985. He always had a great dream: to make an airstrip on this property, given the great visibility it offered, and so fly all over the Ribera. With the beginning in 1989 of the Bodegas Félix Callejo project, the track was left aside and finally forgotten. In 2002, José Félix Callejo started with a small plantation in Valdelroble de Tinto Fino (from old vineyards). The result is a success. In 2005 we launched with the rest of the plantation: Tinto Fino or Tempranillo (60%), Merlot (30%) and Syrah (10%). In the end, a great dream has become a great vineyard of payment, very noble and "high flights".
