Andrée Klipfel Gewurztraminer

The Klipfel family has been producing Gewurztraminer in Alsace for nearly 200 years.

The winery's approach is to preserve clarity, aromatic intensity, and varietal purity, producing gastronomic and versatile wines with aging potential of 3 to 5 years.

The Gewurztraminer grapes are hand-picked at peak ripeness to maximize the variety's distinctive aromatic concentration.

Once in the winery, the bunches are gently pressed to prevent the extraction of bitterness from the skins.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures (around 15-18°C) to preserve the full spectrum of characteristic tropical, floral, and sweet spice aromas.
